despite all evidence to the contrary, i am still here...
i feel just a bit better - i don't have the sense of despair, but do feel very apathetic and don't feel like doing anything. this provides at least two obstacles to updating a blog...
a: having done nothing, there is really not much to blog about - unless i want to write about how i have nothing to write about - whihc i have done too many times recently
b. since "writing an entry" is something, being apathetic, i don't feel like doing that either...
soo... nothing to write about and no will to write - explains the lack of entries...
but - anyhow - a few things happened since i last posted:
a. our family spent last weekend at an indoor waterpark. anyone suprised that we would spend the first weekend of june indoors does not know ohio weather - and the crappy weather we had justified our decision. it was pretty fun - though my wife and i tire of it long before the kids do. a few years back, though, me having fun at a waterpark would have been unheard of. as frequent readers know, i just learned to swim within the past 2 years - still won't go down the slides - hey, a person has the right to retain some of their old phobia :-)
b. secondly i started my fellowship at nasa - nothing earthshattering - but it is a great environment to work in
anyhow - i hope my mood will continue it's upswing (albeit slight)...
perhaps a trail run tomorrow...
