for some reason, i had read an earlier review that kept me from buying this cd by an artist who i believe is the greatest living musician - geesh - i'll never pay attention to reviews again. i stopped at the office long enough to do a few odds and ends and downloaded this - wow....on december 30th, i've found my album of the year...
it's odd - during winter i turn to jazz over rock/pop - perhaps summer has a party vibe and winter is the time to be more serious....
btw - the guardian is a great site....

ok - watched most of the second LoTR movie last night.
survey says?!: Mike is a simpleton!
so far i'm into LoTR for about 6 hours. when i realized that in the same time period, i could have watched the big lebowski twice, along with an episode of alias, an episode of the office and STILL had enough time to play a little on the XBOX, i actually cried...
i haven't checked to see if there are any deleted scenes on the dvd, but i can't imagine ANYTHING was cut from this extravagonzo...
